AECOC’s thematic conference of June 16th 2021, on "the challenges of temperature-controlled logistics"


Together with other logistics managers and customer service representatives of manufacturers, distributors and logistics operators from the refrigerated products sector, Sonsoles Gómez Novo, Director of Customer Service at Salvesen, shared her experience and knowledge to contribute to a specialized analysis in a day full of interest.

Sonsoles's participation, with her presentation on "customer management innovation in times of crisis" was of great value to the attendees and was manifested at the subsequent discussion table. She explained the initiatives that are being carried out in Salvesen with digital transformation projects, new systems and developments that provide greater supply chain visibility and differential added value to customers.
Innovative tools with the central axis on customer service, based on powerful information systems that allow tracking & tracing of orders and routes in real time.

AECOC, as an association of manufacturers and distributors, holds single edition sessions on current strategic topics with top-level expert speakers. This Conference, moderated by María Tena and Maite Rodríguez, both responsible for logistics training/education and transport management respectively at AECOC, was attended by representatives of UNIDE, GRUPO MONBAKE, CULTIVAR, PORT DE BARCELONA, RELEX SOLUTIONS, NUEVA PESCANOVA, EROSKI, AMETLLER ORIGEN, IMPROUS, EURO POOL SYSTEM, TRANSFESA, COOP TRADING and SALVESEN LOGÍSTICA, where they addressed the strategies being followed to maintain the cold chain after growth in the different channels of the FMCG sector during the pandemic, without losing efficiency and competitiveness, as well as the innovations promoted after the health crisis.
