Alcampo, with the presence of its Iberia CEO Américo Ribeiro, has officially inaugurated its latest CFC in Madrid, a warehouse of more than 27,000m2 and 36 loading and unloading docks located in San Fernando de Henares in which they have invested close to 20 million Euros. Created in collaboration with the British group Ocado Solutions and its most recent technological development, it’s intended exclusively for the preparation of orders for its online sales platform.
For their logistics operation, where the demands are the guarantee of excellence in service, food safety and sensitivity in environmental and social policy, they have trusted in the capacity of Salvesen Logística.
Today more than 60 people already work, with 48% women - doubling the sector average - and we hope to reach 400 when the CFC is at full capacity. The center, with a high degree of automation, will then be able to manage up to 280,000 orders per month.
